Beacon has a character all its own. Between the river views, the hills, the older homes, and the mix of in-town properties and larger lots nearby, outdoor spaces here need the right plan to look good and hold up over time. We work with homeowners and property managers in Beacon who want more than a quick cosmetic fix. They want clean work, smart grading, durable materials, and a crew that communicates clearly from start to finish.
At Red Cedar Landscapes, Inc, we’ve been serving the Hudson Valley since 1987. We’re a family-owned company with a 28-person team, a fleet of specialized equipment, and decades of hands-on experience. That matters in Beacon, where one property may need a simple landscape refresh and another may need patio construction, drainage work, mulch installation, or site grading to solve bigger issues the right way.

Why Beacon customers call Red Cedar
We know that hiring a landscaping contractor is about more than the finished look. You also want clear expectations, dependable scheduling, and a team that respects your property. That’s how we operate. We don’t cut corners on prep work, base work, drainage, or finish detail, because those are the things that make the difference a year from now.
Our owner, Steve Relyea, built this company the old-school way: show up, do the work right, and let the results speak for themselves. More than 40 years later, that standard is still how we run every job. Many clients choose us because they want a premium outdoor service company with the equipment, crew, and experience to handle both simple and complex projects without guesswork.

Our process is simple and straightforward
If you’re planning landscaping in Beacon, getting started is easy. Give us a call and tell us about the project. You can send over notes, measurements, or sketches if you have them. We’ll review the details, talk through options, provide a rough cost range, and schedule a site visit when needed. Once everything is approved, we put your job on the schedule and complete the work as weather and site conditions allow.
For patios, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls, and other hardscaping projects, we can help you think through the layout, materials, and approach before final pricing. For mulch delivery and installation, we confirm the address, quantity, and placement details, then schedule the work based on site access and weather.
